Prior to his brief initial tenure as director on the Splinter Cell remake he contributed as a game designer on a variety of projects, including Splinter Cell: Blacklist, Assassin’s Creed: Unity, Far Cry Primal, Far Cry 4, and Far Cry 5.</p><p></p><p></p><p>Grivel rejoins Ubisoft after a stint at Ridgeline Games working on the campaign mode for Battlefield 6, until EA abruptly <a href="https://www.ign.com/articles/ea-shuttering-marcus-lehtos-studio" target="_blank"><u>shuttered the studio in early 2024</u></a>.</p><p></p><p>The Splinter Cell remake, which was first announced way back in late 2021, has been skulking around in the dark for many years now.
