<blockquote data-quote="Admin" data-source="post: 69052" data-attributes="member: 1"><p><img src="https://assets-prd.ignimgs.com/2025/10/30/resident-evil-requiem-switch-2-pro-controller-ign-1761831903015.png" alt="" class="fr-fic fr-dii fr-draggable " data-size="" style="" /></p><p><a href="https://www.ign.com/games/resident-evil-requiem" target="_blank">Resident Evil Requiem</a> is getting its very own Nintendo Switch 2 Pro Controller, which will release alongside the game on February 27, 2026, and is now up for <a href="https://zdcs.link/9wjbe6" target="_blank">preorder at Best Buy, costing $99.99</a>.</p><p></p><p>It's the first Switch 2 game to get its own Pro Controller, and, at $10 more than the standard <a href="https://zdcs.link/ao6d56" target="_blank">Switch 2 Pro Controller ($89)</a>, likely sets the pricing precedent for these special edition gamepads.</p><p></p><p></p><p>The controller keeps the same black-gray color scheme as the standard model, but stands out with an RE-themed front faceplate that looks like a newspaper clipping from Raccoon City.</p><p></p><p>The words "Resident Evil" appear prominently at the top, with "Requiem" just beneath it, while the rest of the design features snippets of in-universe articles and haunting images of the city's grim setting.</p><p></p><p></p><p>Capcom looks to be throwing the full force of Resident Evil Requiem behind the Switch 2 with <a href="https://www.ign.com/articles/capcom-gets-behind-nintendo-switch-2-with-resident-evil-requiem-switch-2-pro-controller-the-first-ever-resident-evil-amiibo-and-a-re7-re8-re-requiem-generation-pack" target="_blank">several exclusive announcements for the console</a>.</p><p></p><p>That includes the aforementioned controller, alongside an amiibo, and the 'Resident Evil Generation Pack', containing Resident Evil Requiem, Resident Evil 7 biohazard Gold Edition, and Resident Evil Village Gold Edition for Switch 2.</p><p></p><p></p><p>At the time of publication, only <a href="https://zdcs.link/9wjbe6" target="_blank">Best Buy</a> and <a href="https://www.nintendo.com/us/store/products/nintendo-switch-2-pro-controller-resident-evil-requiem-edition/" target="_blank">Nintendo</a> (sold out) are hosting preorders for the first themed Switch 2 Pro Controller.
