Tonight's State of Play broadcast has given us one last look at Capcom's tantalizing Resident Evil Requiem — and confirmed what many fans had previously deduced: Leon S. Kennedy is once again infected. The trailer depicted Leon with a grey and yucky looking hand, and suggested he was running out of time to cure himself. Fans have been concerned for Leon's welfare ever since they began enhancing and analyzing images of his neck from a previous trailer — a similar dark grey mark was seen there, too. And that's not all today's trailer revealed — a very quick look at a familiar blond-haired character appeared to confirm the return of Sherry. At least, that's what fans watching the trailer believe. For long-term fans of the series, this trailer also provides the sight of Leon returning to the streets of a ruined Raccoon City after decades away — and even stepping through the doors of his former Raccoon City Police Department. It's enough to make you misty-eyed. With the game's February 27 release date now just a couple of weeks away, here's what may be our final look at Resident Evil Requiem before it arrives: For much more, catch up with everything announced during Sony's State of Play broadcast right here.
