As Gematsu pointed out, in 2021 the Game Rating and Administration Committee of Korea rated the remastered version of the original Quake ahead of its <a href="https://www.ign.com/articles/quake-remaster-new-expansion-ps5-xbox-series-x" target="_blank">official announcement at QuakeCon 2021</a>.</p><p></p><p>Quake Remastered released for PC, Xbox One, PS4, and Nintendo Switch, so it seems likely Quake 2 Remastered is set for PC and the full set of consoles, too. And given Bethesda is owned by Microsoft, Quake 2 Remastered will no doubt launch straight into Xbox Game Pass, as Quake Remastered did.</p><p></p><p>Quake 2 first launched in 1997.
