Capcom has announced another delay for Pragmata at its showcase today... but at least the way they revealed it was pretty adorable. While showing a new look at the upcoming sci-fi third-person game, it showed a piece of paper that had 2022 and 2023 scratched out, and then "very sorry :(" At the end of Pragmata's time, Capcom posted a further statement apologizing for the delay, saying that it's with a "heavy heart" that they must postpone it once again. "Our team is currently hard at work making the best game that we possibly can, but we need more time," the statement went on. "We will continue to do our best to ensure that the final product is one that is worthy of your patience." This is only the latest delay for Pragmata, which was originally dated for 2022. It was pushed back to 2023, however, during Sony's CES presentation in 2021. Pragmata was first unveiled back in 2020, being developed for the Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC. There's not been much revealed about it, though, aside from gorgeous - if a little bizarre - aesthetics. Today's tease did reveal a little more, though, including the name of the little girls at its center: Diana. She shown drawing innocently (which ends up being the delay news) as an astronaut fights off mechs and protects her. A brief shot at the end of the teaser shows her interacting with a computer interface with some technology showing in her eyes. Even still, it remains one of Capcom's more mysterious games -- and now there's no word on when we'll learn more. [I]Alex Stedman is a Senior News Editor with IGN, overseeing entertainment reporting. When she's not writing or editing, you can find her reading fantasy novels or playing Dungeons & Dragons.
