Minecraft Players Build Staggering 1:1 Recreation of New York City

The build is focused on exteriors currently, but the interiors of some famous buildings have also been recreated.</p><p></p><p>Thousands of Minecraft players have contributed to the project so far but, given how much work even this small portion of New York City has taken, d3_cent said the team is always looking for more contributors.</p><p></p><p>Minecraft is the best-selling video game of all time with an incredible 300 million copies sold, and it <a href="https://www.ign.com/articles/gamers-mostly-played-older-games-like-gta-5-and-fortnite-in-2023" target="_blank">continues to be one of the most popular games around despite being 15 years old</a>, with its emphasis on creativity seemingly offering infinite amounts of playability.
