Less than two weeks later, Mimimi <a href="https://www.ign.com/articles/shadow-gambit-the-cursed-crew-is-mimimis-final-game-as-the-studio-shuts-down" target="_blank"><u>announced plans to shut down</u></a> “over the next few months.” Co-founders Dominik Abé and Johannes Roth said the decision came from financial pressure and work stresses.</p><p></p><p>“As founders and directors, we found it increasingly difficult to strike a balance between fulfilling internal expectations for the studio and being available for our young families,” Abé and Roth said at the time. “Meeting our goals of quality, company culture and management requires a constant level of energy that we simply can’t provide anymore.”</p><p></p><p>In the time since Mimimi announced it would be closing, it has delivered updates for Shadow Gambit and will, soon, cap things off with the two DLC packs in early December.
