In the <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bSG5UbZPxXw" target="_blank">trailer for the new set of items</a>, you can spot various Destiny references ranging from the Drifter's outfit to a ghost dangling off the front of a ship. The <a href="https://www.seaofthieves.com/pirate-emporium" target="_blank">Pirate Emporium</a> has a weath of options available to deck out your ship and sailor in Destiny cosmetics.</p><p></p><p></p><p>Sea of Thieves <a href="https://www.ign.com/articles/sea-of-thieves-on-ps5-has-progress-and-item-transfer-and-playstation-only-servers" target="_blank">made its way to PlayStation last year</a> as one of several Microsoft properties that have jumped to Sony's console. Destiny, meanwhile, has been on Xbox and remained there through <a href="https://www.ign.com/articles/sony-has-completed-its-37-billion-deal-to-acquire-bungie-and-welcome-it-into-the-playstation-family" target="_blank">Bungie's acquisition by Sony</a>. While this might blur some perceived console lines, it's a fun crossover and the Drifter's outfit in particular suits the world of Sea of Thieves quite well.</p><p></p><p>Season 15 of Sea of Thieves <a href="https://www.ign.com/wikis/sea-of-thieves/Sea_of_Thieves_Season_15_Details_and_Patch_Notes" target="_blank">recently went live</a>, adding various new encounters, voyages, and new content to the long-running piracy experience. Rare's game has managed to stay afloat for quite some time, and it's even seen success on PlayStation 5, <a href="https://www.ign.com/articles/after-rares-sea-of-thieves-tops-the-ps5-sales-chart-whats-the-next-xbox-game-to-go-multiplatform" target="_blank">topping an EU sales chart</a> back when it made its way to the platform.</p><p></p><p>Destiny 2, meanwhile, launched Heresy and continues to chart a path out from its big narrative conclusion in The Final Shape. The space-faring shooter has had its own recent crossovers, most notably with Star Wars.</p><p></p><p>Both games have managed to weather the <a href="https://www.ign.com/articles/playstation-cancels-two-unannounced-live-service-games" target="_blank">changing, shifting tides</a> of live-service game production, so it's neat to see them pair up in this Sea of Thieves crossover.
