At the end of the trailer, Gaiden’s protagonist, Kazuma Kiryu, is seen meeting up with Infinite Wealth protagonist Ichiban Kasuga.</p><p></p><p>In a following developer update, director Masayoshi Yokoyama said: “As you may have been surprised to see, we’re including a special trial version of next year’s Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth as bonus content with purchase of Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name.”</p><p></p><p></p><p>Yokoyama said the special trial version includes scenes that aren’t in the main game, and that players can unlock it after completing Gaiden’s main story.</p><p></p><p>Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name follows Kiryu as he goes into hiding after the events of 2018's <a href="https://www.ign.com/games/yakuza-6-the-song-of-life" target="_blank">Yakuza 6: The Song of Life</a>, and between the events of 2020’s <a href="https://www.ign.com/articles/yakuza-like-a-dragon-review" target="_blank">Yakuza: Like a Dragon</a> and the upcoming Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth.</p><p></p><p>Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name launches on November 9 for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X and S.
