Karmine Corp Crowned Champions of Rocket League Paris Major

They endured a tournament that began with 16 different teams vying for the trophy.</p><p></p><p></p><p>“The whole game we dominated, and I think we could have scored earlier,” says Karmine Corp’s Juicy. “But, in the end, it was just a relief. We were meant to win.”</p><p></p><p></p><p>Karmine Corp quickly went up 2-0 in the final before dropping a game to Twisted Minds. The decisive final game went into overtime before Atow scored the tournament-winning goal.</p><p></p><p></p><p>Earlier in the day, the crowd packed into La Défense arena in Paris erupted when Rocket League was revealed to be coming to the newly-announced <a href="https://www.ign.com/articles/unreal-engine-6-revealed-as-rocket-league-gets-a-new-coat-of-paint" target="_blank"><u>Unreal Engine 6</u></a>. A short teaser showed a glimpse at more detailed environments for the game, an enhanced options selector, and more.</p><p></p><p></p><p>Juicy says the pending updates make him even more excited about the future of Rocket League.</p><p></p><p></p><p>“]I think it] will be a good thing,” Juicy says. “[I’m excited to see] what can be made. Unreal Engine 6 is going to bring so much to the game.”</p><p></p><p></p><p>For winning the tournament, Karmine Corp took home the lion’s share of a more than $350 thousand prize pot.
