The premise is simple: scuttle around, beat up other creatures, and eat them to evolve. You’ll transform from a humble crab into a terrifying monstrosity, sporting the chaotic body parts of a platypus or something more mythical. Bringing that polish into a roguelike format—provided the execution is as sharp as a pickaxe—could result in something truly special. You’ll brew a variety of drinks for a cast of characters ranging from the mundane to the supernatural, and you’re sure to find a few new personalities to fall in love with along the way.</p><p></p><hr /><h2><img src="http://main.blog-mgmt.greenmangaming.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/04/BlogContent007.jpg" alt="007 First Light - Indie Games Round-Up May 2026" class="fr-fic fr-dii fr-draggable " data-size="" style="" /></h2><h2><a href="https://www.greenmangaming.com/games/007-first-light-pc/" target="_blank">007 First Light</a> – 27th May</h2><p></p><p>007 First Light comes from the brilliant minds behind the Hitman series, and frankly, it can’t arrive soon enough. While it sits on the larger side of an “indie” budget, we are counting it, and that’s good news, as it looks absolutely fantastic. Merging the world’s most famous secret agent with IO Interactive’s signature emergent gameplay is a guaranteed win.
