I<a href="https://zdcs.link/9gjPLy" target="_blank">t's also reduced on PlayStation 5</a>, dropping down to $40 from its original $69.99 MSRP.</p><p></p><p>Metaphor: ReFantazio is, in many ways, a lot like Atlus’ Persona franchise, with dungeons to grind, a calendar to manage, and a party to level up, but it’s all packed into a refreshing fantasy setting that has a lot to say that remains pertinent a year on from release.</p><p></p><p>“Refining the Atlus RPG formula of weaving tough turn-based combat into compelling social sim mechanics, Metaphor: ReFantazio doesn’t just send a powerful message across its political drama, it becomes a beautiful expression of the real impact storytelling can have on all of us,” <a href="https://www.ign.com/articles/metaphor-refantazio-review" target="_blank"><u>Michael Higham said in his review</u></a>, awarding the game a 9/10 score.</p><p></p><p>At this price, it’s hard not to argue it’s worth a look for even more casual turn-based RPG fans, but don’t forget there’s a demo on the Xbox Store which will let you carry your save data over to the full game.
