Set long before the events of the Harry Potter films, <a href="https://www.ign.com/articles/hogwarts-legacy-all-gameplay-plot-details-revealed" target="_blank">players will spend time in classes, exploring Hogwarts</a>, and <a href="https://www.ign.com/articles/hogwarts-legacy-villains-who-are-ranrok-victor-rookwood" target="_blank">fighting a nasty goblin called Ranrok</a>.</p><p></p><p></p><p>The game has stirred up discussion over its connection to Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling, who has become <a href="https://www.ign.com/articles/how-harry-potter-fans-are-coping-with-jk-rowling" target="_blank">notable in recent years for her transphobic comments</a>.
