Halo: Campaign Evolved Reveals New Space Combat Missions, Imminent Release Date

In an Xbox Wire blog post, Microsoft confirmed that players can get five-days of early access and play the game on July 23rd if they purchase the premium edition ($69.99) or collector's edition ($199.99). The base game will cost $49.99.</p><p></p><p>Instead of showing us new looks at iconic missions with a new coat of paint, the trailer focused on the new story missions known as Operation: METEORITE that were made exclusively for this remake. They'll take place one year before the events of the main game with Master Chief and Sgt. Johnson going on an exciting new mission. Perhaps more excitingly, at least one of these new missions will feature space combat. These new missions were created in collaboration with Troy Denning, who penned a number of Halo novels.</p><p></p><p>As already noted, there will also be two special editions for the game. The $69.99 premium edition will include early access, in-game skins, a digital artbook, and a digital short story that leads into the events of Operation: METEORITE.
