Honestly, it's just a tad bit annoying to see people with signatures that are 5 or 6 times bigger than whatever their message is. Signatures are supposed to be your own small personal touch that you add to your posts, not a giant billboard saying "LOOK AT ME!!!!!!". Not to pick on M1, but here's an example of what I'm talking about with signatures in relation to the text.

Now it's not too different from images. I mean, if I post a bunch of screen shots and don't crop to only what I need, it can be quite annoying to scroll through.

I find it a tad more annoying to include said offending picture in a complaint like this, considering your later argument about not cropping images. Also sexist remarks in Laithes signature?

Limited anyway.

This is actually a legitimate point, as it's basically us ignoring our own rules, that we have put in place.

All signatures should not exceed the following limits

  • For text signatures: 4 lines normal size, 8 lines small size and up to 90 chars per line. Font sizes above 2 are not allowed. (Blank lines count as lines.)
  • Do not use images with large text to bypass the previous item
  • For images in signatures: 1 image up to 300 pixels wide, 125 pixels tall and 20k in size
