Far Cry 6 PC Specs Are Reasonable Unless You Want to Go Max Settings

For example, if you want to run the game at 1440p with 60FPS and no ray tracing, you would need an AMD Ryzen 5 3600X or Intel i7-9700 processor with either an <a href="https://www.ign.com/articles/2019/07/07/amd-radeon-rx-5700-xt-a-review-and-benchmarks" target="_blank">AMD RX 5700 XT</a> or <a href="https://www.ign.com/articles/2019/07/02/nvidia-geforce-rtx-2070-super-aa-review-and-benchmarks" target="_blank">Nvidia RTX 2070 Super</a> as your GPU with 16GB of RAM.</p><p></p><p></p><p></p><p>But if you want to run this game at Ultra Settings, you will need the most recent hardware available on the market. To run the game at Ultra Settings, you need <strong>at least</strong> an <a href="https://www.ign.com/articles/amd-radeon-rx-6800-review" target="_blank">AMD RX 6800</a> or an <a href="https://www.ign.com/articles/nvidia-geforce-rtx-3080-founders-edition-review" target="_blank">Nvidia RTX 3080</a> graphics card with your CPU either an AMD Ryzen 7 5800X or an Intel i7-10700k with 16GB of RAM.</p><p></p><p>Fortunately, Far Cry 6 is one of the games that will support <a href="https://www.ign.com/articles/amd-fidelity-fx-super-resolution-nvidia-dlss-competitor-release-date" target="_blank">FidelityFX Super Resolution</a>, AMD's supersampling technology. Unlike Nvidia's DLSS, FidelityFX Super Resolution does not require machine learning and it is open-source, meaning you can use this supersampling tech on both AMD and Nvidia graphics cards. This includes Nvidia's GTX series, which does not have support for ray tracing or DLSS.</p><p></p><p>Far Cry 6 arrives on October 7.
