It will add new missions and story to the game, along with new enemies and encounters, more weapons, as well as adding extra systems, elements, perks, and augments. The Zone 4: Apophis Content Update for Deadzone: Rogue is launching on December 17, and as an added bonus that date also marks the start of a free-to-play access period if you haven't had a chance to jump in yet.</p><p></p><p></p><p>Deadzone: Rogue was officially released in August this year on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, and is currently rocking a Very Positive ranking on Steam. You can play solo or with co-op team of up to 3 players, and puts you on board the colony ship ISS-X, which is unfortunately also home to facing murderous robots and mutants. Ain't that always the way?</p><p></p><p></p><p>It's the work of indie studio Prophecy Games, which was original part of the Hi-Rez Studios group but went solo in 2020. It's other game is <a href="https://www.ign.com/games/tribes-3-rivals" target="_blank">Tribes 3: Rivals</a>, a team-based first person shooter.</p><p></p><p></p><p></p><p><em>Rachel Weber is the Senior Editorial Director of Games at IGN and an elder millennial.
