Also, we really wanted you to enjoy a variety of Musashi’s actions, so we intentionally equipped him with some late-game skills. Because of that, some players might have felt a lack of challenge.</p><p></p><p>“Rest assured, in the final game, the bosses and the regular Genma will put up a tougher fight. Please look forward to the challenge in the full game.”</p><p></p><p></p><p>The demo for Onimusha: Way of the Sword is available to play now on PC and console. According to Capcom <a href="https://x.com/OnimushaGame/status/2064274441656218044" target="_blank"><u>the demo has reached one million downloads.</u></a></p><p></p><p>The game itself is due to arrive on September 25, 2026 – wedged between Silent Hill: Townfall and Ace Combat 8. There’s precious little wiggle room in September, which has been <a href="https://www.ign.com/articles/gta-6-has-turned-september-into-a-video-game-battle-royale" target="_blank"><u>turned into an all-in brawl as publishers evacuate the final months of 2026</u></a> (and the gravitational pull of Grand Theft Auto 6).</p><p></p><p>Onimusha: Way of the Sword was <a href="https://www.ign.com/articles/capcom-is-finally-bringing-back-onimusha-the-game-awards-2024" target="_blank"><u>first announced at The Game Awards 2024</u></a>.
