These elements are consistent in all game modes that support the Tier 1 variant."</p><p></p><p></p><p>The Tier 1 playlist isn't the only thing Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 owners will have to wait for, as the game's Battle Pass will also go live on the first day of Season 01 alongside the long-awaited arrival of Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0.</p><p></p><p><a href="https://www.ign.com/articles/call-of-duty-warzone-20-brings-major-changes-to-the-formula-including-pve-faction" target="_blank">Speaking of Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0,</a> which will be free-to-play and will include the traditional battle royale gameplay with a new twist, the game will also include a new "extraction mode" called DMZ that appears to be similar to titles like Escape from Tarkov.</p><p></p><p></p><p>Warzone 2.0 is a "fully revamped experience" and will take place in the desert of Al Mazrah, a fictional region of Western Asia. Players will contend with A.I. as well as real players if they want to be the last ones standing.
