Battlefield 6 Players Divided After EA Opens the Door to Battle Pass Pre-Orders

The clear-cut image shared shows an in-game "Next Season Preorder" page, offering two pre-purchase options: one for the standard battle pass and one for the Battlefield Pro version.</p><p></p><p>IGN can confirm the in-game addition, with Battlefield 6 players now able to purchase the Season 3 pass by simply following the button prompt on the bottom-left side of the battle pass screen. The original Reddit post, however, seems to be a bit out of date, as an updated version of the page shows the Battlefield Pro package is available for $25 instead of the previously shown 500 Battlefield Coins. The standard pass can be purchased for 1,100 Coins, or about $9.99.</p><p></p><p></p><p>The option to pre-order battle passes in Battlefield 6 marks a slight change in monetization strategy that allows players to lock in for Season 3 ahead of its expected May 12 release date.
