Avowed Gets New Trailer, Release Window for Next Year

The Living Lands has a variety of ecosystems, fantasy creatures, weird plants, and more. The trailer was narrated by a character named Kai, a former soldier and one of the companions who joins the player in Avowed.</p><p></p><p>Avowed was officially revealed at the <a href="https://www.ign.com/articles/xbox-series-x-avowed-rpg-announced-revealed-obsidian-fall-out-new-vegas-developer-games-showcase" target="_blank">Xbox Games Showcase in 2020</a>. It's coming from Obsidian Entertainment, the reknowned RPG developer behind games like Fallout: New Vegas, The Outer Worlds, Grounded, and last year's Pentiment.</p><p></p><p>We know Avowed is set in Eora, the same world as Obsidian's Pillars of Eternity franchise.
