Immortals Fenyx Rising also deserves a look, especially if you love Greek mythology. Ubisoft snuck in a few lesser-known myths alongside the usual Zeus gags, and I got hooked chasing down those references. The decision to give Isaac a voice, years after the silent original, adds so much weight to his breakdowns. Tekken 8 also earns its place here today, and I highly recommend its brand of fisticuffs for stress relief. Larian's attention to detail is absurd, right down to the fact you can romance a vampire who offers to bite you mid-camp. Into the Breach, meanwhile, proves that lightning can strike twice for Subset Games, the same folks who gave us FTL. It's chess with kaiju, and I dig it.
