The problem had to do with visibility. The T-800 has a flat model and lacks illumination. At medium to long distances, it was incredibly hard to see compared to other character models. And in a game as fast and frantic as Call of Duty, being hard to see can make all the difference in a gunfight. Here’s the relevant line from the patch notes:

The T-800 Operator has received a visibility adjustment to ease target identification for the Endo Titanium Core skin.
But has this change gone far enough? Some Call of Duty players are saying the tweak makes little difference to their ability to see the Terminator in-game. The question is, will Activision nerf the Terminator even further to address these ongoing visibility issues? This isn’t the first time Call of Duty has had a visibility problem, of course.
