Treehouses in Minecraft provide a wonderful way of incorporating unique and cool designs into your home. Whether you're just starting out and want some more niche house ideas to work from, or you're a pro in Minecraft but want to think outside the box, we've got ideas and tips for you. There are two things to consider as you scroll through our favorite treehouse build concepts:

In order to dictate the size of your treehouse, it will depend if you’re working on your main hub or an addition to an existing build.
Furthermore, the biome you choose to build in will control the extent to which you can use naturally generated trees versus trees that you artificially create yourself.
That said, we’ve rounded up some of the best treehouse build ideas for Minecraft, from simple, starter tree houses to next-level designs and challenging builds, and everything in between.
1. Simple Treehouse
If you’re struggling with how to build a treehouse in Minecraft, just go basic to begin with. Find a tree that has a decent height (a nice clear view is a bonus), and attach a small four-walled house to it. Whether it’s actually in the air hanging from the tree or just on the ground adjacent, it doesn’t really matter! You can expand up and out, even artificially increasing the height of the tree as you progress in the game. If you're new to Minecraft or building this type of house, definitely start here.
2. Jungle Treehouse
In the biome that has the tallest trees, it only makes sense to use the real estate and build a shack high in the sky. The abundance of tightly-packed tall trees and hanging vines allow an easy method of interconnecting various small structures. How to Easily Build a Jungle Tree House via Mr Mirror: Video via: Mr Mirror Not only do the vines that adorn a number of the trees in Jungle biomes act as a natural ladder, but you can also place them on the leaves all the way around the tree you’ve built upon to create some natural cover/camouflage. If you’re in a multiplayer world with friends, this can be a particularly enjoyable, and accomplishable project, with individual houses creating a lovely Ewok-style village as the end result!
3. Leaf House
Can’t quite get your house to look right, clinging to the side of a tree? Think outside of the box and instead have your home base within the leaves of a tree. Using Shears to gather leaves from surrounding trees, you can create a bubble of leaves on top of those that are naturally generated on the trees.
