Noatime

Every time a file is accessed the kernel writes this information back to the disk, disabling it will make file operations faster and make your SSD last longer.

sudo nano /etc/fstab

Find the line that contains your system partition. For non encrypted systems (the most common) it will look like

UUID=7e5152ce-37d3-4b4e-b1a3-1b8d4bc3cd02       /       ext4    defaults        0       1

OR

/dev/sda1       /       ext4    defaults        0       1

For LUKS/encrypted systems it will look like

/dev/mapper/luks-608607c7-a1e5-423c-929f-6c18fea /              ext4    defaults    0 1

ADD noatime after the defaults so it looks like

UUID=7e5152ce-37d3-4b4e-b1a3-1b8d4bc3cd02 /              ext4    defaults,noatime    0 1

Remount the system to check it works

mount -o remount /

If there are no errors then you can safely restart, if there are errors then revert your change.
