Revision as of 21:43, 30 April 2026 by Admin (talk | contribs)

All files changes go in /etc/sysctl.conf

sudo nano /etc/sysctl.conf

Memory Tweaks

Keep more data in RAM instead of swapping to disk, make the system more responsive, especially if swap is on a Hard Disk

vm.swappiness=1

Network

Enable BBR (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/TCP_congestion_control#TCP_BBR) Greater top speeds and more reliable, especially for higher latency connections like 3/4/5G and satellite.

net.core.default_qdisc = cake
net.ipv4.tcp_congestion_control = bbr
