Rainbow Six Siege is gearing up for the first Rainbow International Snowball Fight with its upcoming Snow Brawl event. This holiday-themed celebration will put players on either the Orange Blizzards or the Blue Blades to compete for victory in a snow-filled capture the flag game mode. Furthermore, the event will bring with it the Snow Brawl Collection, which features 45 Winter/Holiday-themed uniforms, headgear, weapon skins, and operator card portraits.
Rainbow Six Siege’s Snow Brawl event will run from December 14 - January 4 and, while there will be high wintry stakes, it is meant to be fun, casual game mode that all can enjoy. Each match will start at the exterior of the Chalet map with flags at the home base of each team, and the goal will be, obviously, to capture the enemies flag and bring it back to your base.
Where things get interesting, however, is that all players are equipped with unlimited snowballs as their main weapon. Three hits from one of these snowballs will send the unfortunate recipient back to Respawn. Players will also have access to the Snowblast Launcher as a secondary weapon, and it is “ready to push-back” the opposition.
In addition to snowballs replacing guns, this event will also be unique in that various Boosts will be available on the map, including those for running speed, rate of fire, air jab ammo, and health packs. The team with the most points at the end of the match will be crowned victor, and a tie will cause both teams to fight it out in a first-to-score Sudden Death match.
As for the participants in the Snow Brawl, The Orange Blizzards will be comprised of Attackers Ash, Blackbeard, Buck, Montagne, and Osa, while the Blue Blades will stand strong with Defenders Castle, Frost, Rook, Thorn, and Vigil.
For those interested in the previously mentioned Snow Brawl Collection, these purchasable items will provide players with wonderfully festive uniforms, headgear, weapon skins, and Operator Card Portraits for all the participants in this snowball fight. Buck Osa, Castle, Frost, Rook, Thorn, and Vigil will have their own bundles of four items, and Ash, Montagne, and Blackbeard’s returning bundles will have new weapon skins and portraits in them. One of the more premium items available will be the 3D weapon skin for the UZK50GI, which would be a stylish addition to new Operator Thorn’s repertoire.
There will also be a special Snowflake Bundle that will feature a signature weapon skin, a universal attachment skin, a charm, and a background.
The entire Snow Brawl Collection can be obtained by either completing special event challenges or purchasing them for 300 R6 Credits/12,500 Renown each. The individual bundles can be purchased for 1,680 R6 Credits each. For those that don’t wish to spend any additional money, all players will be gifted one free Snow Brawl Collection pack if they simply log in at any point during the event.
As a reminder, Rainbow Six Siege’s Snow Brawl event will run from December 14 through January 4 and will be free for all players looking for a chance to become a snowball fight legend.
