Same, new "bands" suck. Pop sounds like a cat having an orgasm... I'm a punk/punk rock/ska person.

funny thing is, modern day pop sounds like a cat being tossed off a skyscraper.. but 'pop' from the 60's and 70's is kinda nifty.

I prefer any music that has an actual meaning. Not a fan of "FUCK SHIT UP GET DRUGS FUCK WOMEN GET AIDS FUCK DUDES SMOKE WEED I'M CEWL" music. I may sound like an oldfag but I do believe that the music in this day and age has a HUGE influence on the youth. People that I go to school with think that being in a gang is cool. Anyway, I prefer rock, but I will pretty much listen to anything as long as it has meaningful lyrics or if it is funny. (my two cents)
