After much research, our top cientictc have come up with THE definitive formula for calculating the approximate amount of time that = money.

      __________

M = √(n^2 . $) / n.2

M = Amount of Time = Money

n = Time, calculated by t/2 (t being time in seconds)

$ = 0.582284928355 (Simplified 0.5)

If M = 0 than assume M = ∞

M is measured in dollars per minute

_______________________________________________________________________

Example :

Tracy spent 10 minutes in the bath, calculate how much money she spent in the shower.

1) Apply the formula

10/2 = 5

n = 1

$ = 0.5

      __________

M = √(5^2 . 0.5) / 5.2

2) Calculate

      _________

M = √(25 . 0.5) / 25

      ______

M = √ 12.5 / 25

      __

M = √ 0.5

M = 0.7 $/m

No I believe the true question would be....

What would happen if Aggravate found something better to do?

I would eventually leave and Noodle wouldn't get his daily doss of trolling, which would make him an hero leaving the forums to Tom who would spend another 2-3 years editing the code until it became self aware and soon took over the internet (at which point humans go insane and the machines easily overpower them with mining equipment). Generic robot apocalypse ensues.

You forgot the factor in that Tom's code editing will be delayed cause Noodle and I tend to break everything.

Well, better for us to break things then to have someone who would do bad things with it (Well dunno about Noodle :p)

The breaking that happens is basically all by people with root privileges. I see no way someone who would do bad things would break this! Sadface @ Noodle.

Not necessarily, from what I understand it there are certain compiler exploits that any user with access to compilers could use to gain access to root's password hash (by forcing the compiler to make a .txt out of the shadowed password file). Although if I remember correctly Noodle told me you guys don't even have a compiler installed.. (lol wat?)

My knowledge on the subject is pretty basic so if I was completely wrong somewhere and you'd like to enlighten me please do so :>.

ITT: Aggravate tries to get information from BoN administrators. Agg, this is why you don't have an account :D

The only person I'll enlighten on something to exploit a server I help run, would be the people running it. Or Felix.

I suppose I can take that as a "you are correct my good sir, but I'll never tell you that".

Also I never asked for information on YOUR servers, I asked if the concept of using a compiler to find shadowed password hashes was correct (after some googling I found an answer).

Of course it works, you were the one that introduced me to it :p Use of a compiler has been blocked on all users bar root anyway.

Lack of a server to test it on made it a concept, but I found a nifty little site with a lot of different exploits for getting shadowed passwords :).

I wonder where, in all of this, we overlooked Tom's inexhaustable supply of ammunition aimed at those who break his code... I wonder how much of this has been cover fire for his own breaking codes.... Noodle maybe more innocent than previously assumed. >.>

Just putting it out there, but when I break shit I fix it, when Noodle breaks shit....I fix it.

That's why when I break shit you don't notice/hear about it, cause I quietly fix it and tell no-one, so that no-one can be aware that I am, in fact, mortal.

Lies, the only times you hear about me breaking shit is when I'm not aware I have done so. I fix and redo more than you :p
