Netflix is partnering with The Coalition to develop a Gears of War movie alongside an adult animated series. Netflix tweeted on its official account this morning, "Gears of War was released 16 years ago today and to mark the occasion, Netflix has partnered with The Coalition to adapt the @GearsofWar video game saga into a live action feature film, followed by an adult animated series — with the potential for more stories to follow!" Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Crosses $1 Billion in Sales Faster Than Any Game in the Franchise

After already securing the biggest opening weekend in franchise history, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 has crossed another milestone, becoming the fastest Call of Duty game to cross the $1 billion sold mark. A press release on Business Wire says Modern Warfare 2 crossed $1 billion in worldwide sales through its first 10 days, dating back to launch on October 28, 2022. The previous franchise-best was held by 2012's Call of Duty: Black Ops II, which took 15 days to hit the $1 billion mark. Frostmourne Will Be A Collectable Card in Hearthstone’s March of the Lich King Set

On December 6 (December 7 in ANZ/Asia Pacific), Hearthstone is going to change forever, with the release of the game’s 11th playable class - Death Knight, and the March of the Lich King expansion. The new class brings with it some super interesting gameplay, with a Blood, Frost and Unholy rune system for deckbuilding that allows players to specialise in one, two or all three of those areas. Sonic Frontiers doesn’t limit you to a small, carefully curated prix fixe menu of things to try. Instead, it takes the all-you-can-eat buffet approach, throwing new ideas at you from start to finish, without really seeming to care if they’re fresh and appetizing or looking wilted and limp under the heat lamp. When I jumped off the starting line of this sprint across Sonic’s first open-world game I certainly didn’t expect to play jump rope, duke it out with a giant robot, watch a dramatic origin story for an extinct race of beings, or do a heck of a lot of fishing, but Frontiers kept me guessing even late into the campaign with what it would try next. After a confusing situation, Activision has decided to give all current and future owners of the Vault Edition of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 10 hours of Double XP tokens and 10 hours of Double Weapon XP tokens. Blizzard has unveiled the next hero to join its lineup, the leader of Null Sector, Ramattra. As teased in the lore, Ramattra is the leader of the organization Null Sector. Lionsgate Is Interested in a Major John Wick Video Game Adaptation

While Lionsgate still has two more John Wick movies on their way, the studio is reportedly also considering a "big AAA game" based on the franchise. During an earnings call today, Lionsgate CEO Jon Feltheimer mentioned that the company has been discussing proposals for the game, though nothing is set in stone yet. "I don’t want to get ahead of myself here, but we believe there is a big AAA game to be made out of ‘John Wick,'" Feltheimer said during the call, according to a report by IndieWire. "We have been fielding proposals. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone composer Sarah Schachner has shared that she will no longer be composing music for the games as she has had a challenging "working dynamic" with the audio director on the projects. Hideo Kojima has addressed the report that stated he was working with Google Stadia on an exclusive Death Stranding sequel, saying those rumors were "unfounded." There's nothing quite like the feeling you get in a puzzle game when you look at the big picture and the solution to the whole stage comes to you all at once. Resident Evil Village: The Winters' Expansion Review

After beating Resident Evil Village the first time, I was extremely satisfied with how the horror story played out from start to finish. When Capcom announced it was making an expansion, I knew it would be a tough act to follow. Unfortunately, the three parts of the Winters' Expansion aren’t up to it. Its new campaign is extremely short, rushed, and does little to improve on Village’s story, and the new way to play the main game makes it less scary than it was the first time around. AMD Officially Announces the Radeon RX 7000 Desktop GPUs

AMD has officially announced its next-generation Radeon RX GPUs today. After months of rumors and some teasing from AMD, the Radeon RX 7000 is officially here. With the WRC license Scandinavian flicking itself to EA in 2023, WRC Generations may represent the last official effort developed by KT Racing for now – and the studio has certainly shot the works at it.
