STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl developer GSC Game World has issued a major patch for the shooter, targeting some 1,700 fixes and improvements including to the A-Life 2.0 system.
Patch 1.2 is, as described by GSC Game World in a post on Steam, “a massive one,” and impacts all aspects of the game, such as balance, locations, quests, blockers, crashes, performance, and the aforementioned A-Life 2.0.
STALKER 2 launched in November to a positive reception on Steam and 1 million sales. It’s a success for the Ukrainian studio, a miracle, really, considering the harrowing circumstances that followed Russian’s full-scale invasion of the country in 2022.
