The same report claims Obsidian’s <a href="https://www.ign.com/games/avowed" target="_blank">Avowed</a> and <a href="https://www.ign.com/games/microsoft-flight-simulator-2024" target="_blank">Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024</a> follow in November, leaving MachineGames’ hotly anticipated <a href="https://www.ign.com/games/indiana-jones-and-the-great-circle" target="_blank">Indiana Jones and the Great Circle</a> to launch in December.</p><p></p><p></p><p>If true, that’s a jam-packed second half of 2024 for Xbox, which is now boosted by Microsoft’s $69 billion acquisition of Activision Blizzard and all the games it owns. It’s worth remembering that Microsoft now owns Blizzard and MMO World of Warcraft, which is set to receive the <a href="https://www.ign.com/games/world-of-warcraft-the-war-within" target="_blank">The War Within expansion</a> before the end of this year.</p><p></p><p>Microsoft is heavily rumored to be planning to announce the next Gears of War game during its showcase, although there’s no indication it’s a 2024 title. Expect plenty of release dates for all the games coming out this year, and some set for 2025.
